Just love the French

I was in Bordeaux yesterday at my sons place watching Liverpool hammer Swansea ?? well we won.
On the way home roads along the river front was closed as there was a manifestation/protest by bikers.
Must have taken at least 10/15 minutes to pass by. The number of bikers I heard hitting the rev limiter , bloody hell what a racket. I do not know what they were protesting about but I will give it to the French they certainly know how to let the powers that be they are not happy.

Its only central Paris they would be banned from. Some bollix to do with pollution.

French bikes are restricted to 100BHP by law, probably something to do with that.

The EU parliament revoked that law, but I think the French said fuck you and it became law from the 1st January 2016

I passed my test in France in 2012 and it was the law. The french government attempted to get the rest of the EU  do the same i believe.
