Mirrors
#1
Well after a lot of reading and pondering I ordered the mirrors.

Mirrors from ebay.

I had to cut 3mm off the throttle slide and the rolled edge off the grips so I could fit onto the R & G bar ends so as not to spoil look.
Very pleased with result and I can now see without moving my elbows out of the way.
Went with the mirrors with the extra adjusting knuckle.
I have ordered cheap mirror block off plates from china (If no good only a few pounds)

But until they arrive cut out some carbon look vinyl which doesn't look too bad.

Nice looking set up Des, Smile
Having just done 750 miles with my mirrors which look nice but are pretty useless as actual mirrors
I'm wishing I'd chosen a similar style...how useful are yours?

Btw...how do you find your gel grips, they are next on my list...do they help reduce vibration to your hands?

Which mirrors did you order, as I can't see any listed for the Fazer 1000 gen 1? As I would like to try bar end mirror and for the price it's worth a go.

I can now see behind me without moving my arms and easily adjust to get the right angle, I'm 6'2" so have long arms.
I also fitted Rental 758's which help with vibration and you must keep bar end weights. They also improve the handling, a good mod for not a lot of £'s
The grips are nice and sticky and will help a bit, I would guess the foam type offer better vibration reduction.
I find with sticky grips you relax more as you have confidence in your ability to grip and thus reduce fatigue in your hands. It's not your wallet relax a bit :-) lol

Don.

There is a link in my post, they are the ones I got, I just removed the feral and clamped onto bar end weight as mentioned. They will fit a large selection of diameters.
