you need a resistor, diode and a push button....... all available from maplin..... christians multiguage site gives all the details....you have to splice into the temperature sensor wire

Grinding, grinding and more grinding.
If you ever feel the need to fit flanged bolts/nuts to your top suspension mount, don't, just passable to grind the top weld that the stock bolt locates on but the lower one was a twat. One hour filing with a stroke of about 15mm is about as much fun as it sounds. Removed the front sprocket with a electrical impact driver, to tight for socket and breaker bar. Had splined tab washer holding it on, is this stock?
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

Rode the Fazer home the scenic route after the free training course on electric vehicle charging points , the tyre is now scrubbed in .

Took the Fazer this morning instead of the Guzzi , rode it to Weymouth , stopped and had a coffee and dried off , got soaked between Yeovil and Dorchester , then went onto Lyme Regis , stopped for another coffee , looked at the Map and decided to head for the Motorway as it was getting late, got soaked between Lyme regis and Honiton . Got as far as Taunton , then had to come off the M5 as it was blocked by the Police due to an accident , as Taunton looked snarled up with traffic headed towards Yeovil and rode home via Shepton Mallet and the Old Bristol Road , got home at 17.30 , just in time to get ready for my Night shift at the University .

RIP my beautiful red beast 1999 to 2017 ???
Swapped the bars out for some 758's. Got a local engineering company to tap the ends to accept the original bar end weights.
Feels a lot better, something I always noticed after riding my DRZ and that MT10. Still toying with the idea to raise them an inch or not. |
