Evening all, Just (few hours ago) bought a faker off a friend of mine, for £700, (99, S reg, 17 000 miles) as I have been a stay at home dad for last 4 years with no income, got offered a job for 13th June start, my big Zed (ZZR1100) decided to eat 4th gear last friday and we have one car on the road due to only one of us working. Looks like spring has been changed and the FZS is in good nick. Motd till December, used to have a Bandit 600 but sold it as lost my job in 2012. Now (hopefully) earning again and bought this as it was a good deal..700 quid! My zed needs new box bits, picking up 2nd hand one on tuesday for £160 (folks lent me the cash) and hope to enjoy the FZS 600 for bike nights etc, ZZR has had loads of work done hence why i don't want to get rid...IM ex REME (Chally 2 Specialist)..so bikes r a doddle..fork seals, forks rebuilt etc powder coated lowers, rear swing arm powder coated, loads of wot=rk, new tyres chain n sprockets to the zed a week ago and she threw 4th gear. Not happy! Engine is ready for removal this week, so bought the fazer of work (16 miles return a day) come June 13th..any issues I should watch for on the FZ? TIA>>
