That reminds me the other week I was trundling along my fave twisties when I hit a load of mud on the road from a tractor. But then up in the distance there was this brown blob and as I got closer to make out what it was I realised it was bike and rider completely covered in mud.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

That ugly merc is blocking us from seeing the condition of your car, to see if it really needs cleaning, although from what we can see, it looks clean enough  :lol

Ha ha, definitely a marmite car but I love it. My bike does more mileage than my car. Although I've got space in the garage for another bike  Smile

Spent the day cleaning the Guzzi , washed , chamoised , and polished it , put the battery.back on , started it first push of the button , put air in the tyres,  put fresh fuel in , then took it for a spin , went Down. The A38 to Churchill , through Burrington , across the Mendips , back along the A37 into Bristol,  what a buzz , love riding the Guzzi .

Lake District run today. Weather was mostly dry, though not very bright, so the pics aren't great. Zapped to the Filling Station cafe, where I got chatting to a chap with a silver gen 1; he's just got an R6 shock off Luke, but not a member on here. He sold the bike, rode around on others for 5 years, then found the exact same bike for sale, so jumped in and bought it back!

Then the long way round to Ambleside via Ullswater and the Kirkstone Pass (I'll be glad when the A591 is open again, and can just zip straight down that way). Looking back towards the Kirkstone from the gnarly little lane that plunges steeply down and into Ambleside:

Then went down to Coniston Water, but still the sun didn't want to play, despite this, the only patch of blue sky I saw today:

So then I headed along Little Langdale, and crossed into Great Langdale. Bow Fell in the background:

And the Langdale Pikes:

By the time I got back to Keswick, it had started to rain, but not enough to spoil the ride, and it's nice to get back at nearly 8pm and still be able to put the bike away in daylight.

Looking good
The road down to Ambleside from kirkstone pass is called the struggle it's great when you get a clear run down weeling  and jumping the crests
