The 5RT1 is a 2002 manufactured model, most likely registered in 2003.

The official Yamaha name of the colour of your fazer is  "Silver 1"

The official Yamaha colour code is 755 and the abbreviation is S1
The colour Silver 1 is also used on the 5RT4 2003 models

Hiya Unfazed,
Thank so much for the info, it seems none of the info that I had previously been given was correct, most helpful thanks, saves me ending up with a rattle can or two of the wrong colour. :rollin :woot :thumbup

Sun came out so had my fist ride of the season, a couple of hours on north Yorkshire moors. I rode some of the roads that I had my first ever Rideout at the tender age of 17 almost 40 years ago....the sun shone that day too.

Weren't me, took a mate to Johns Of Romford to pick up his new bike, bought a 600 H0^6a wouldn't listen to me, then took a short bimble up to Ongar before returning home.

70 mile Spring bimble north of Lichfield up towards Ashbourne-first day my fingertips didnt feel cold since put the "Reviver" back on road 1st March.
Wilbers rear shock has totally transformed the handling ( coupled with some grease in the suspension linkage bearings! :lol ).
Am off to Cornwall in cage today for a week but will log in using smartphone on sisters wifi.
Looks like its going to be a glorious biking day-ride safe fellow foccers & enjoy.
