Damn. I just wrote a whole long thing about how the main thing to check on the gen 1 is the Exup valve and it got lost. Too much to type in again. But check it's not siezed, hasn't been disconnected and that the bike runs well with plenty of midrange. Apart from that it's the usual things to check on any used bike. Sorry I lost all the stuff I just wrote.
Oh its annoying when that happens, but screw it now!
I'll try to keep an eye out on the exup valves, useful to know.
Im a sucker for the black engines and one of my favourites was on auto trader from a firm called Red Lodge Autos (never heard of them myself but they are down south), but it seems to be gone now, it was there this morning.
I was gonna add the link and ask opinions, oh well, too late!
There's a blue one on here I like actually, but its got the silver engine.
My thoughts are that I can mod all sorts on the bike, but changing the engine colour is one of the hard ones to do without looking crap, so I'd prefer buying one with the black engine.
Or is there any ways to black it I'm not thinking of?
