Sounds like your plans have come to fruition Nick. Good luck with the move & indeed with getting in the hills with some nice snowfall, hot soup , fresh air and rece missions for the best roads come summer time.

Absolutely ripped the tits off of the noggytrx through the cold morning air and quiet roads.....some more of east pembs/cardiganshire roads again........Haverfordwest-llandisillio-crymych-cardigan-egglsyrw-presselis & home........some thoroughly recommended roads for sure if anyone visits this way in future......between yesterdays and todays roads ive now got another cracking loop..........deadly serious at some points i was thinking "these are the best roads in the world" just the way the one splendid road led to another...and another...lovely views and not much traffic.
Well I havn't yet, but the rifle is coming out today, after a few very very busy weeks working I get to go to Dorset in search of Bambi !!!, two days stalking and an afternoon on the pheasants.
Good group of chaps,much whiskey downed at night,rented farmhouse, much jolliness. hohoho .

we had a great time, walking the forests like dads army,, couldnt ind a deer friday or saturday then on sunday morning i stumbled upon a herd of fallow, queing up at a partime job kiosk, christmas eve work by all accounts,,lol

A 90 mile round trip on the XJ600 to The Cayley on the prom at Rhos on Sea. Very mild, mostly dry roads, little traffic. Saw many bikers out, many heading towards the Horseshoe Pass.
Went against the grain but i started her up again just to make sure there was a charge in the battery......been waiting a whole month now on just one clear day when im off to take it to the garage for some fettling.
Also had to make a custom can to appease the neighbours :lol
