No sleigh I'm afraid (or elvses...)
Had to pop to town on way to work to collect a missed parcel which turned out to be an R1 rear wheel that I couldn't get in my top box ![]() Prestons Internationally acclaimed Christmas Markets, talked about as in as far flung places such as Lancashire. ![]() As this forum seems to be religiously diverse lately... How's this
It was after the foundation of the partnership between Israel Hart of Canterbury and Joseph Levy of Leicester that the community began to take formal shape. Israel Hart moved to Leicester and in 1874, the Leicester Hebrew Congregation began to be mentioned in the Jewish Chronicle. The synagogue was built and formally opened in 1898. Built largely thanks to the generosity of Sir Israel Hart, and has recently become a listed building.
