I have a set of them on my tuono v4. To be honest they are pretty crap. The parts that tighten with the allen bolts for adjusting need serated washers fitted, so when you tighten them they actually stay in the correct position. The problem with these mirrors is that they have a smooth surface and once fully tightened they still move and the other thing is the allen bolts are made of cheese, so you can't overtighten them. I fitted serated washers and used stainless allen bolts and they work fine now. Smile

:lol  Not really as as long as you get serrated washers for a couple of pounds and use decent allen bolts they are great. Saves a fortune on the original rizoma tomak mirrors. (about £130!).. Oh and by the way they can't be that bad as i have a set on my bike. I was simply pointing out they need a tweak or two to make them good.

Ps.... RMT1983, Don't be upset that i didn't want to buy your slip on kit jets and needles when they are utterly useless without the drill bits. Wink  Plus you were asking for £75 :rollin

Why would anyone buy jets (they can buy for a couple of pounds) Granted the needles are exclusive to ivan, but so are the spacers, washers and drill bits. You would be better selling your carbs complete with slip on kit and getting mike to set up your standard set.

This thread has lost it's way, as i simply posted that the mirrors for sale needed tweaking (for a couple of pounds), so that whoever bought them got a set of good looking mirrors working as good as the very expensive option. I thought i was being helpful to whoever bought them. You replied to the thread because i'm not being ripped off by you. I wish you well with your sale. End of discussion.

"I have a set of them on my tuono v4. To be honest they are pretty crap" Sounds like your telling us how 'crap' they are! why didn't you just leave that bit out and just say the bit where your telling us how to make them even better than they are now???

I don't rip people off, your just in for a bargain and to be honest, aren't we all! End of discussion.
