I quite like it... Not the screen tho

If it's broken, it's not fixed.

i'll see if I can get some half decent arty farty pics up sometime soon.....with the screen off...admittedly it ruins it.
got 2 weeks off coming up and hoping during all that time I can get at least a day out on her around Wales to really test out the handling.....I foresee the Newtown road being a feature.

Took a micro spin on the noggyfighter for a couple of obligatory Presseli pics.
Was quite amusing going full chat up the hillside with throttle wide open and drowning the valley with noise. Took a couple of decent corners seemingly at ease at 90 but tbf the majority was at circa 80-85 which is exactly where i like to be.......85 in 4th means throttle pretty much 3/4 way to pinned, especially on a gradient......you've got to eek out 100 but it is achieved reasonably rather than with ease. In all honesy i think on an open A road it will show its limitations in the grunt department....but only because the chassis is so sweet that it could go so much quicker and that is only a testiment to how sweet the yzf rear and R1 front combo handles....not a criticism of the engine per say.....so light and so smooth in the corners......old noggyfighter felt light on the front in such circumstances.....noggythou was just heavy and fighting with me with a stiff feeling front......this feels light on the front as if it will go light except it never actually goes light if that makes sense ie doesnt start to break traction at the front or get unsettled. Really need a decent trip on her in mid wales to fully review. I can see me owning more bikes in the future but i really cant see myself ever selling this bike 8)

interesting looking bike , i like it, but a smaller bikini fairing would improve it imo

The TRX looks very nice. Much better than my TDM :lol
Today I finished my project „side stand without crash bar“. On the BMW R100R and R100GS the side stand is mounted in the crash bar. This means no crash bar = no side stand. Best solution in that case is a Mystic side stand. Never available used and new for 300 €. Mystic copies cost about 250 €. So I bought a damaged set of crash bars for 27 € incl. postage. And had some fun with, grinding welding and painting. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I only took pics coz Nick was being so smug with his lakeland pics....where he photoshopped his bike into the lakes. Thats what he does...he showed me the software....and his camping kit is alll just pictures of camping kit that he transposes onto wherever he wants us to think he is.

O.k. So not me personally but thought my brother had been a bit quiet for the last few days and today I found out why.
It was a bit of an animal on the road but now it's been supermoto'd....... It still is, just goes round corners better. ![]()

Dazza.....what BHP doesthat husky thing have then.....i remember meeting a couple of chaps one day and i tagged along on a coastal run...an FZ1 naked and a Huskie race tuned thingy like that with stickers all over it....it was nuts...on the back wheel most of the time....but soon ran out of puff even on moderate twisties........after going to a twin im like that to a certain degree although mine has 80 odd BHP so can still do a tonne ten at a push but mostly im at 85-90 and giving it some just to be there.

Good question Noggy, I think husky have got it about 51 at the crank with a 0.9 hp loss at the back wheel. Yes, they are going to run out of puff but weighing in at just over 100 kg and the way it delivers its power I can see it monstering my Fazer in the tight technical twisties. Going to put that to the test soon.
![]() I did a little speed test, me on my DRZ, as I hit my max of 95 it was just pulling away from me. I maxed it out about 108 indicated, think it may read a couple of mph faster due to the smaller diameter front wheel. When I held mine at 60, the Husky's clock was reading between 60 and 62.

Had a friend built a motard using an aircooled yamaha YZ490, fucking animal of a bike. first time out it span in 1st then second, gripped in 3rd slamming my mate straight into the ground, breaking both collarbones. He never rode it again

Ahh yes, owned an old air cooled 490 many years back. 4 speed box and could be a bastard to start.
Thing was like a coiled spring just waiting to hurt you. Flipped mine in 3rd gear too, just remember seeing the rear mudguard shatter as I slid down the road behind it looking at the sparks. Even rode it off road for a while with a knackered shock, that was challenging. :lol

Get a pic up mr Bloggs 8)
I could have had a much better condition standard TRX for the same money......even a mint one.....one that would maybe appreciate a little......but i just couldnt resist having this one regardless of its faults.....took it to work for a meeting earlier on.....filled me with joy....every pissed off pedestrian i seen made it even better...it is that loud :evil Yes i have to hold back now....going from nigh on 150bhp to 80 ish bhp that is gonna happen......but im more sensible because of it.....i inow its limits....the pressure isnt on to be performing, even the self induced pressure...it is fast enough....and looks cool...and sounds cool....what more do i need............a triple...thats what :b
