Rode out to Squires cafe at Sherburn, place was heaving so after a quick pot of tea went up to the Sun Inn at Fewston, then back home, a nice 70 mile round trip.
These kind of pics really show how varied biking is and how many different tastes there are....it would be boring if everyone owned the same.

Very true, there was everything from rat bikes, trikes, sports, tourers, full dress harleys to everything in between.
Took it from Bridgend to Warrington (unfortunatly for a funeral) and back again, longest journey i,ve done so far and the bike (2000 600cc) was fab. Brimmed the tank and did 189 miles with a quarter left so mpg was better than hoped, filled up for return trip and got similar figures with some brisk riding in places.
A49 from Ross on Wye onwards which is a nice route but did A49/A483/A470 on the way back which in the sunshine was a great route.
Thought the Fazer might feel a little cramped after so many miles (6ft 3) but not at all, really comfy and plenty of power when i needed it, great bike......as we all know .......and it's red :lol
Braved removing the plugs from the 600 which all thankfully came out without any trauma... and discovered that my previous owner is again a complete muppet. Two different types of plugs used which probably explains the issues with rough running and being hard to start...

Went out for a gentle bimble... well, it was supposed to be gentle, but then my inner child got the better of me and for some reason the throttle stayed fairly wide open most of the way...
Only a quick outing and covered possibly 60 miles? Didn't really look, but was out for almost 2 hours so that seems about right
SORN'd it today as I've had a letter from the DVLA.
Despite the fact that it's taxed and MOT'd but off the road while I tidy it up, they were going to fine me because it's not currently insured. :rolleyes Oh well, my mistake, thought I wouldn't need to insure it until it was back on the road.
you can't have a bike taxed if it's not insured, because you (not you but a naughty boy) would ride a bike without insurance but wouldn't ride a bike without tax and insurance cos that would be very naughty and so it makes all the difference, like f**k
