As today was my day off and in spite of the crap weather , rode to Ilfracombe via Minehead  , Porlock , came back via Barnstaple , Taunton , M5 to Highbridge , back on the A38 and home , in places the roads were dry , the traffic wasn't too bad , the scenery along the coast was great and the Fazer just dealt with all effortlessly .

Did you ever get the fork springs for it?

Rode out to Squires cafe at Sherburn, place was heaving so after a quick pot of tea went up to the Sun Inn at Fewston, then back home, a nice 70 mile round trip.

No o spent a bit too much and then i started using it a little bit so i dont wat it back off the road again so i think if i keep it next year ill get the springs done by the garage when it goes in for its mot etc.

Got it to a reasonable level now though by dropping down and jacking up....it is enjoyable now and flickable.

Hoping the PC5 will add a new dimension to things Smile

These kind of pics really show how varied biking is and how many different tastes there are....it would be boring if everyone owned the same.

Went to Demerrock in Hoeselt, Belgium last Thursday, got back yesterday. Used the Fazer for one of the specific reasons I bought it for. Loaded up like a Spanish donkey, just got to drop the tank bag on and ride! Never missed a beat, comfy enough, fast enough and no real problems from the lack of an EXUP valve, a bit wooly when its cold at less than 3K, but no probs as long as you remember you cant whack the throttle at 1K revs and expect it to grunt away. Had a great time, drank lots of beer, watched some good bands, rode in some lovely weather (and some bad too) with me mates, relaxed continental motorways, courteous cage drivers, won 4th International club trophy, laughed till I cried more than once, strippers, good welcome from MC Hoeselt who run the gig, partying on hotel car parks on the way home, and we are going to do it all again next year, unless SWMBO lets me do the extended Northern Spain Do ive been planning for a couple of years. I would post more pics but photobucket is playing up. The wine glass on the back was placed there in the vain hope it would get back to Calais in one piece, it made it to Calais, but not in one piece, back to drinking wine out of plastic throwaway hotel cups then.
