Love that Laverda.

Main destination today was Caernarfon castle:

And along the way, visited a few of my favourite spots:

Classic view of Tryfan; last time I tried to get this shot, I dropped the bike in a field entrance  :o  :

Always end up here; only camera van seen today was just exiting Bala, before getting here:

Met a real character down at Rye who talked non stop for over an hour and was an expert at everything. :rolleyes
He set up Middens suspension and showed me how to hang off the bike properly and get my knee down.
I've got to say, it was one of the most entertaining days I've ever had and me and Midden was crying with laughter
In all fairness, the man was very knowledgeable and we wasn't being ungrateful but, he just left himself open to the infamous Foccer pisstake.
I think he knew we was taking the piss but he took it very well........Well it's only fair isn't it.

We managed to escape for cod and chips and the man moved on to his next victim (who had short back and sides when we left them :lol

Had an equally good ride on the way home, avoiding all the traffic  and making the most of the twisties.

Got back to mine, cracked open a cider and Midden prepared our roadkill for the pot.

A good day. Smile

Photos to follow, having trouble attaching them

Dya reckon, I thought tyre was ok for a few k miles still.  Red line? Look at me the rebel Wink
Thanks for the pun/s  I was too 'tired' Wink to think this morning.
Plugger was really quick and easy  I lost 15 psi in all which could have been reduced had I ignored instruction to put needle in hole first without the plug thread.
I reckon the job would still be  good putting thread straight in and would've cost just a few psi.
Experienced feedback welcome on this

Been teaching our young lodger how to ride and took him out for the first time today (he was riding my son's ex-Rieju RS 50 which he sold to him). We kept to quiet lanes and the Fazer picked up a lot of farmers muck, but when I took a photo after we got home, the bike still looks clean-ish.
