Yesterday: Lead a Ride Out from Wickham to the Weyhill Fair Pub. Unfortunately this time I only had 3 people join, as opposed to the 13 I had the last time I did it (probably too many people looked at the forecast and didn't like the look of the possible rain). Yes, we got a bit of rain on the way, but it cleared up after lunch and we had a great run back to Loomies.
Today I rode from Portsmouth to Birmingham, but reached the A34 via the A32 and Morestead Road (missing out the M27 and M3) which was a lot more fun, so I did that on the way back too! Apropos the fuel economy comments above, I've noticed that since garages swapped from the winter fuel formulations, I'm getting about 25 miles extra per tank :thumbup ADDENDUM: Yesterday I was wearing the textile jacket with neck piece due to the grotty weather, today I got to use the Air Jacket for the first time this year!

Only joking noggy, we all know a 1000 will go faster in a straight line but a 600 will be better in the bends with a decent pilot, not me, its all about the bends baby.
Besides Noggy you'll be too busy with dirty nappies and jam in yours cd's before long. :lol

Skips....i dont mean to sound like bill & ted but i actually found your previous slander most excellent........plus it was more realistic than your recent comment of a 600 ever being quick......the only thing they do quick is going upside down against the tarmac :b
