Feedback on JT Z1R and Tsubaki Alpha XRG heavy duty gold chains, miles?
#1
Hi All,

Does anybody has used JT Z1R super heavy duty gold chain, any feedback about the quality and how many miles I can expect from it? Does it stretch too much in time?

Do you reckon it is better than Tsubaki Alpha XRG chains? Tsubaki Alpha is rated for 20k miles.

Slight overkill with a super heavy duty chain to be honest.

The thing about chains is how much you look after them, if they are really neglected they can mess up in no time.
But clean them and keep well lubed on a regular basis and they'll serve you very well.

Agree. My OE chain lasted a good 30k with a Scottoiler. Replaced it with a gold top spec DID and it should last years. Probably won't still have the Fazer when that chain is done.
