what did you do with your fazer today ?
I've always had good results from using this technique.

73 mpg from my last Fazer 600,
75 mpg from my Thundercat,
48 mpg from my gen II (which is good for one of them).
It seems to work well for me.
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

I've never really been bothered about MPG on my bike but I recently made a note of mileage/fuel cost on my run out to Snetterton for the BSB. 280 miles  'ish' round trip and riding in my normal way (not B**ls out but getting a move on or 'making progress) I got 45mpg. Happy with that to be honest.

Lol, my missus wouldn't agree, she loves her little H&¥¤a  :lol

Sorry folks, we seem to have hijacked the thread, so I'll say that I've just given the front of my engine a clean up and coat of paint. Headers are off too for a clean and polish, and new stainless studs and nuts.

Lots of other bits planned to be tidied up, unfortunately my OCDs are kicking in and the list is growing...it was only meant to be a bit of a tart up being a cheap hack  :lol

Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.

Didn't go out on the Fazer, but took the R1 hybrid up through Lancaster, Lythe valley, kirkstone pass, then honnister pass and back again. 200+ miles and my arse is killing me!

Great days ride though.

rode it to work out of pure protest really that I haven't had the chance to ride it recently......got stuck behind numerous bell ends resulting in some nice corners having the fun sucked out of them and now it has started foccing raining and I foresee a wet ride home at 0630 in the morning

I should have taken up bog snorkelling or something :lol
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

New battery. Bad timing as I've replaced tyres, chain and sprockets, now battery, and hardly use it any more. Gotta keep her nice though, been together too long.
