A nice ride in the sunshine back to the Midlands. Wrexham, Stone, Weston, Uttoxeter, Rugeley, Hednesford, ( stopped to visit my Grandparents' grave ), Lilleshall, Shawbury, Wem, home. 147 miles total. I stopped at Castlewood Cafe, on the A518 between Uttoxeter and Stafford, for some food. Very welcoming staff, bikers coming and going. They have a bikers night every Wednesday. I shall definitely be visiting again.

Noggy - stop fannying around with your suspension and get some springs matched to your weight in the front!

Dropping the front as it won't turn in properly with too stiff springs is like putting a plaster on someones bleeding stump after an accident with a chainsaw

Ok so im focced with the cold but just managd this run...only 200 miles but if it was the only run i ever did id be happy Smile

It's pretty hard to show how nice the A44 really is but it is corner heaven.....pics look crap but hopefully you can see the trucks etc further down.....these series of corners were so fun i evn went back down the hill just to do them again.

Really happy with my ride, carved some nice corners in sequence & felt in control...if at the edge a bit.....i had vast bits of top road, traffic free when it mattered, views were spectacular.....flying into twisties with enclosures of trees where you insantly felt the nice chill of the shade, sunlight speccled through the trees onto the road.....bit like a playstation game at times.

Tyres got a real caning but stuck like glue....very happy noggy Big Grin

Even did the Beula road in reverse probably the quickest and smoothest ive ever ridden it.
