Lose weight, but not easily

"... best way to burn off extra was to keep moderately active throughout the day..."

Where i come from they call that "WORK".  Smile

Never been a fan of intentional exercise, ever since leaving school where i used to really enjoy running and cycling, but i'm constantly walking and heavy lifting at work so that'll do for me.
The thought of a sitting down office job horrifies me.

Actually I've just had a look at that link and it wasn't the one I was thinking of (although it's still an interesting documentary).

The one I was thinking of was a Horizon programme called What's the Right Diet for You?  They took a number of overweight people and found that they could divide them up into groups depending on whether they were Comfort Eaters (ie ate when they were stressed or upset), the "Feasters" ie those who didn't get the "I'm full" message from their systems or the Constant Cravers, those who eat throughout the day.

They then worked out diets which were tailored to the groups' eating habits and found that all of them managed to lose weight.

Unfortunately it's expired from iPlayer and the link on YouTube goes to the wrong documentary Sad

I can eat what I want and don't seem to gain weight so maybe I'm just lucky but I do try to stick loosely to the guide below when making dinner and it seems to work for me. It's just common sense really.
