Took her for our first Sunday ride together. Saw many bikes, failed to keep up with alot of them (riders fault not bikes) then headed home. Nearly 200 miles in total, Glencoe is such a wonderful place.

I'm just back from a 'wee' run with my son as pillion.
Glasgow, the Green Welly, Fort William (and never saw youngsterbiker taking his pic as I went through Glen Coe) then Oban, Lochgilphead, Inveraray, then back to Glasgow
280 brilliant miles, sun shinning all day load's of bikes out, (some not so good riders though :rollin)

Only thing now is my ass is foccin numb, need to look for better seat, anyone recommend anybody in Glasgow area?

Balanced the carbs of the 1000 and then then decided to go for a wander with my wife on the back.
We watched the local Bike Drag Racing for a while and then decided to visit the memorial to the Firefighters who died in 9 11 outside Kinsale. I had heard about it but had not seen it until today

There is a tree with a firefighters name for every firefighter who died (343 total).

The lady who set it up was a nurse in new york and tended the injured firefighters, when she retired and came home to Kinsale she set this up. Sadly she died 4 years ago from cancer
The last picture is a memorial to her.

Pictures are from my phone as I forgot my camera.

Today i only rode to work but...

Spent saturday changing the brake discs on the fazer, had a slightly warped disc which was causing pulsing under braking, 2 discs off ebay and an hour changing them along with a firming up of the front suspension has transformed the bike made it alot more enjoyable (not that it wasnt before) to ride.

Then sunday popped over to Salisbury spring surprise bike show, lots of great looking bikes to see and lots of fun to go to my first bike show on my bike.

Just been on a ride into north Yorkshire with my buddy on his GSXR600.
Cleveleys to Lancaster, over to ingleton, then Hawes where a dark blue gen 1 pulled up.
Aysgarth to kettlewell, then down to skipton. A59 back home.
Awesome ride, and it certainly showed my GSXR riding buddy that the Fazer thou can still boogie!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Nick you have this lovely modded bike but you only ever take the right side's photo, does this mean that the left is all messed up? :rolleyes

All messed up is probably going too far, but it does still have scrapes and cracks in the left side of the fairing, some scrapes on that side of the tail piece.

Other reasons are that except when it's in the garage, it goes on side stand, so doesn't give the best view, and I've always thought with most bikes the front quarter shot is where they look best. But yeah, definitely it's best side here  :lol

took my fairing off and put a streetfighter headlight on fitted some renthal bars and changed the front sprocket to one less tooth
took it out and its brill
to do list is figure out what to do about the rear end match up indicators as they dont match
figure out what to do about the carbs as there rough
all this to do on a tight budget and i use the fazer everyday as my work ride

Rode up to Old Buckingham, Norfolk with a few Suffolk buddies and my 10yo daughter on the back for bike night at the Ox and Plough.
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad
