SPORT TOURING HACKED - YOUR PASSWORD IS NOW PUBLIC!
#1
Hi everyone,Sold my fazer some time ago and never made the transition from Yuku, but this isn't fake!!

I'm signed up to the website http://letsnotmakeiteasyforthem/ which notifies you if your email address is ever included in a public "dump" of passwords. Unfortunately, sporttouring.com seem to have been hacked, 7k+ passwords are available RIGHT NOW to everyone in the world.Didn't check my emails for a bit, within four hours of receiving a warning I've already been locked out of two other websites (which have the same password!) Go to the site and put your email in to see if you have been "pwnd", then quickly change ALL your passwords.A friend has already spoken to sport touring, he didn't believe it was true until he was read out his password! But they don't seem to have notified anyone yet, so taking to the forums. It seems more likely that the company that handle the payment/login side of their website have been hacked...Please pass this along to anyone else you know.Good luck

Hmmm,so you're saying deliberately go to a website about hacking and put my password in?
Forgive me for being suspicious, but, this sounds suspicious in itself!
It's a bit like saying "Give me all your bank and credit card details and i'll check if they've been compromised for you."  :b
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.

You only put your email address in nothing more. Understand your concerns, but this is genuine! There's a "pastebin" with all email addresses and passwords from sport touring website. The have I been pwnd website has been written up by numerous tech sources as a non profit site designed to help people prevent fraudulent access to their accounts.

Someone has already used the password from there to access another account with the same password.

It shouldn't be a problem provided you don't use the same passwords for high security sites such as your online banking/ credit cards etc as you do for low security sites like forums...
