Goes from Carmel beach around the headland and pebble beach and joins up again with the highway eventually. Stunning properties and views and a relaxing drive to boot.
The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people's money!

So heading back towards Monterey , unfortunately no we didn't , we did walk from Fisherman's wharf in Monterey to the aquarium at cannery row , I thought Monterey  and Carmel were very pretty , quiet towns , completely different from the bustle of San Francisco . I came down with the flu in Monterey so we didn't see as much as we were hoping , we were planning a boat trip but didn't go as I felt like shit
