Given your above feedback I assume the arm position worked out ok as given your injury was a concern

As you said, with the ride height adjusters and riser/standard bar set up you've done, no noticeable difference to before, brake lever position was fine as you left it too. I can confirm that the new set up is giving my gammy shoulder and arm no additional worries ![]()

Someone care to explain what this is about? Too slow Foccers, someone on another site helped out with this, for those interested: http://www.racetech.com/page/title/Emula...hey%20Work All starts to make sense now, as I was noticing how the forks were behaving differently under different circumstances.
Very nice read there nick
![]() Definitely something I'll look in to, but I really should deal with actually setting up the suspension correctly on my bike at some point... Edit: Woah... emulators are expensive ![]()

New battery time , the bike wouldn't start after the interview , had to call out the AA , he tested battery 12.06 volts and not holding a charge , he started with his jump starter , rode the bike home , drove to Fowlers , got a new Yamaha battery for £62 , charged it up as they only come partly charged , will fit tomorrow , hopefully it will start .

At last got round to giving it a thorough clean. Noticed a few little bits that could do with tidying, but it has quite a few battle scars now, so probably won't bother. New tyres, rear pads and an oil change coming up on Tuesday, MOT due next month. And just noticed that car and bike insurance due about the same time soon - poor planning!

Downloaded a new fuel map into my juicebox, looking forward to trying it out on my day off on Wednesday.
Ever tried to explain to your wife that you are borrowing her laptop to make your bike run better?

Also did a trial fit of these mirrors with built in indicators, an ebay impulse buy, I will never learn :\
Thing is even though they are quite low down and short and I can see my hands in a third of the mirror the view behind is quite good. They look odd though. Not wired them up yet until I decide whether to keep them or not, might try bar end mirrors like I had on my ZRX1100.

Slappy....i always buy shit i dont like...my opinion on these mirrors......ditch them.......i was just looking at a pic of the new R1 & thinking how the mirror indicators spoiled the bike.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Got caught out in the rain today, now I know why I do not like riding in the wet in Spain. Just no grip on these roads in the wet. Because it gets dusty as soon as they get wet it is like riding on ice , back wheel spinning up at the slightest bit of throttle. Needs a good clean now as well.

Took the R1 out, and my bro-in-law took the fazer (his Tuono is broken).
He's a v-twin man through and through, but loved the big Fazers comfort, and elastic power delivery. He even enjoyed finding The edge of the tyre with ease!!! I've not converted him, but he has had a taste of fazerism which he enjoyed, and said he'd get one if we went touring!
