Popped over to Leysdown on the DRZ, felt a bit out of place.
Scooters, just can't get excited over them. :z

Often wonder what the scooter rider obsession with Mirrors is, I came behind one last week on the way home from work, I counted 28 mirrors on it and he had no idea what was going on behind, judging by the way he was wandering in the road. When a car blew the horn at him he nearly jumped out of his seat :rollin :rollin

Well, I actually sat on this one and guess what....
All the mirrors were pointing at me :eek Does that answer your question? :lol

What do you mean rubbish lights, the lights on the early Fazer were great.................................. as long as you didn't ride in the dark. :lol
Initial quick fix is just an extra wire from the electrical box under the tank to the headlight.to bring on the dim on the right.

if he turned all those lights on at once then his battery would drain in minutes!! I was going to say he'd slow down but they don't go fast enough to slow down lol!
It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!

Finally bit the bullet and dealt with the cars lack of exhaust. It's been a fun few months with the overly loud exhaust (particularly the last week or so with the back box totally removed) but it is now back to reality with a brand new, custom made to order, stainless steel exhaust from the cat back

Started re-assembly of my suzuki x7 after a rebore........2 stroke twiin cylinder 250cc, for you young uns ..........one piston in no problem, came to fit the other and one of the rings tightens up in the grove before the ends meet, just cant quite get it in the bore, so off with the rings and I try them one at a time, they go in easy :rolleyes....so, put them both back on and try again, still cant get the foccin thing in....round peg in a round hole, and I cant foccin do it :wall.......so off again, try them one at a time , no problems, fit both and still cant get the foccin thing in :wall :wall :wall......so out of curiosity I take the rings off, turn them over and re-fit , fitted in the bore a treat

Are piston rings not designed to resist blow-by during combustion; they will flex against the cylinder wall giving a firmer seal? So, if that is the case, they will be designed to fit in a certain way up? And correct me if I'm wrong, but on some engines, the rings will only sit properly up to the ring 'peg' if the correct way up, to prevent fitting the wrong way up?

Good thinking nick, the peg in the piston is the full width of the groove, I measured the rings and cant see any difference from side to side....very strange, you could be right but I cant spot the difference....might phone the supplier tomorrow and see what he says........head not on yet but still makes a nice plop, plop noise when I turn it over :lol

Booked the cage in for its MOT at the end of the month... fingers crossed it goes through without any issue after all the work that's been done

Fixed a hood on a camera lens and saved myself best part of £500 in the process. Then went out and shot these.

Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad
