Walked past it in the garage and took me Katie Em out for some lane scratching.
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Had a lovely surprise today. My mate has taken my Fazer from his unit, in his van, for an MOT without telling me and it passed!!! He also paid for it, and the last MOT I had done on the VN last week and forgot to pay for! Got some good mates I have ![]() ![]() ![]()

Went to the Oval Motorcycle Centre for a maintenance course. Not sure if people on here know about it (for those outside London, maybe not so useful anyway), but essentially you rent a bench at the garage by the hour to work on your bike using their tools, bike lifts etc. It's decent rates and Matt (the mechanic who runs it) helps when you get stuck or need some advice
Anyway, as a relative Noob it was really good to get more information on the basic checks and work I can do. I'm definitely going to be looking to do more work on it from now on... Matt may be on here as he's a fellow Fazer owner, but I have to say, it was really useful. Learnt a lot, got to talk about bikes and as mine was the guinea pig for some of the work, I've now got a nice lubed chain and had my brakes checked ![]() *technically I went last night, but I was too tired to post when I got home

Took a trip to Clonmel avoiding the Motorway and dual carrigeways to collect a set of standard handlebars for the 600, turned out they were from off a 1000. After some time bike chatting, I returned home again avoiding the Motorway and dual carrigeways and explored the high speed handling of the 1000s

I removed the tank protector, was too squint for my liking.
Also removed the 'yamaha' sign from the rear panel. Then I fitted a led brake light. Yes it was a bit wet to get out on the bike here in Glasgow :-(

Just as well you did not fit it under the tail light as it would have made it more difficult to see the number plate, but why you would want that is beyond me :lol
