Got this cracking reply this morning from James via email
Mate! This is so cool. I didn’t want to reply before I had a chance to really try it out. I am amazed at how much I had changed my style to accommodate the failing rear end of my bike. Having fitted your shock, excellent instructions by the way, and ridden it for a few months I can honestly say that it has transformed my bike and my riding. I have been able to almost remove the ‘unridden’ rings on my rear tyre in spite of the wet cold weather. I have loads of confidence in the front end now that the back end is solid. You have set the shock up perfectly. I appreciate you taking the time to chat with me about it and I apologise for being sceptical. Sometimes things ain’t too good to be true; they just are (true). Thank you Luke. Keep up the good work. If you need any one to vouch for you call me! Best regards James

Out with the old and in with the new
![]() ![]() ![]() Was,nt as easy to fit as I thought, but the torque settings seemed very low but I stuck to them. Ok i,ve taken the bike for a good 30 mile spin and I thought the standard shock was ok a bit bouncy but now the R6 conversion it,s sooo much better handles bumps better and has less squat under accerelation and reminds me I need new tyres a big thanks to Devilsyam for the doglegs and the gumption to make a non standard shock fit !! :lol P.s Anyone got a front end setup guide now I have a big ass end !

I normally say return front to factory settings and lower the forks through the yokes 10mm
You need a start point as most fck about with the front in the vain attempt to compensate for poor rear A good percentage of the folks I've delta with over the year are happy with this arrangement You can take the front further by uprating the fork oil weight or taking it to k tech etc Just my 2 pennies worth

Nice bit of feedback via email from craig
Hi Luke. Wow, what a difference. Iv had the (sweet yellow) shock fitted for a couple of days now. It feels like a nippy little 600 now rather than the lumbering barge it was before. More confidence in low speed manoeuvres, fast flowing corners and everything else. Very happy customer. Oh and idiot proof concise instructions too. Nice one Fully restored my faith in my abilities, which I was starting to lose
