I made this for it. But the missus was snoozing on the lounge and probably wouldn't have liked being rocked by bike noise downstairs so I didn't actually use it yet Sad

Went for a 70 mile spin today, first decent dry run with the new Pilot Road 4s. What an improvement over the Pilot road 3s on the 1000, they are like sports tyres with the level of grip and feel.

If only they did a 110/70 17 for the 600. :'(

I've got one of these http://www.carcareshop.com.au/productIma...83_TTP.jpg to refill the brake light reservoir without having to bleed it after Wink.

110...hrmm now that you say that I think mine has a 120 front on it....doesn't seem to handle oddly but it is the tyre the bike came with so perhaps it'd be much nicer with the 'proper' 110 on it?
Something else for me to look into...

I coated it in ACS.
It's going to be SO satisfying to give it a very detailed clean come the end of February.
Then it might be time to finish the bike.

moved it in the pitch black from its usual parking place to another as im having my shelter built tomorow and the bike would be in the way, so 2  covers,a disc lock and a gert chain and lock through the back wheel over the saddle, all had to come off, move the bike, then replace it all. (and had to text the girl who uses the yard to get to her flat and tell her ive blocked the path to her flat so she doesnt walk into it in the dark and now torrential somerset rain !!  :lol )

Got round to balancing the carbs on my Gen 1 - definitely pulls smoother now, but the bars have picked up some vibrations which make my hands go numb, doh

Then as there was some sun, I went out and picked up a friend before doing some exploration of my local roads for the first time Smile It's been about 7 or 8 weeks since I last went out on a leisure ride
