As my foxeye has the original pipes, I assume at some point they'll rot through. I've seen several sets of pipes on the bay, but wondered if they was a clear favourite in terms of make.

I put Motad on mine, but it ran weak, so I had to sleeve the outlet pipe down (it's an easy job).

I can give you the dimensions if you want. After that it ran fine, and they've been on for around six years now, and thus far no problemos. However other Fazer owners say they haven't had this problem. Maybe Motad have altered the outlet pipe since I bought mine, or I was just unlucky. One other point: don't over tighten the header nuts as you will bend the stainless flanges. And finally, I've got a set of original downpipes, that have no corrosion on them whatsoever, if you live near Bolton and you don't mind parting with a few quid you can have them.

I was lucky, mine had stainless pipes on when I got it. Not sure of the make but they seem to work nicely!

I fitted some of the sandy bike spares ones recently. I know they have mixed reviews but touch wood they've been fine for me and fitted perfectly with no problems so far.

 +1 for the Motad downpipes,

that's what I went for when I got mine, they have the link pipes like the originals, phoned them up and got the cheapest price I had seen on fleebay

Ditto Motad pipes and their Venom can. Think I paid about £230 odd for lot, including gaskets. Didn't notice any difference in power. Certainly a shit load better than with stock pipes on riddled with holes!

+1 for Motad BUT I did opt for Yamaha exhaust port gaskets as I couldnt get a proper seal with the ones that Motad supplied with exhaust-and yes I did scrupulously clean port area of carbon etc. Good value-collected mine from their Walsall premises as only a few miles up the road.
