Me and a mate stripped the front forks on the Gen 1, cleaned and flushed everything through and replaced the oil seals and oil. Sweet 8)

Took the rear wheel out , got a part worn rear tyre on its way ,thought i would try my luckon one

Got out on the thou finally
Started up first time, but sounded pretty rough. Took it for a spin and the 7k tacho error appeared and the bike felt under-powered (obviously) but after a few miles it seemed to clear its throat and all was well ![]() I was going to give it an oil change and re-lube the exup but apparently I've lost my oil pan and can't find my copper slip... so, I guess I'm making a run down to Halfords tomorrow

Changed the oil and checked the front brake fluid level .

Also got the multi meter out and checked the battery , whist checking while the horns not working .

Had to run an errand for the wife first thing so used the bike to get through the traffic to get to the place that opened at 8, sat around for an hour cos it actually opened at 9. Went home via the Whistlestop Cafe now't like being Billy No Mates on a fine sunny morning.

132 miles round trip from Wrexham to Ruthin, Cerrig, Betws y coed, Capel Curig, Llyn Ogwen, Bethesda, Bangor. Warm and sunny, quiet roads.

Fitted my 4 degree advancer on my Gen1 then took it for a spin with great results. Good cheap mod
