what did you do with your fazer today ?
The looks are a bit Attila the hun.... :lol as for comfort brilliant I was very sceptical about them but borrowed one off a m8 and put 300 miles into a day ride a couple weeks back and to honest normally I'd be in a little bit of discomfort where ur legs drop down the side of the seat, but I had none of this, I think it works by trapping air in between the hairs as it feels like ur sitting on a air cushion, also if it gets wet u just take it off and give it a hard shake (that's in the instructions) and refit it and away u go.....I'm very happy with it like I said I trimmed the rear section so it stops at the top on the riders seat, I mean I could have gone and spent £360 on a sargent seat like I have in the past but I'm not as flush with cash as I use to be so thought fcuk it give it a whirl and it works......I really couldn't give a stuff wot me m8's think......but I get off the bike with no numb arse, unlike them...... :lol

Bought ready made, it has brass eyelets for the cord supplied so it don't pull through...

Says to the Mrs off out on the bike for quick blast. There is a stretch of road not far from me in the mountains behind Benidorm where you can give it some.
I will post pics tomorrow as it was nearly dark by the time I limped home.
Anyway red line all the way up the box flying over this stretch and get this wierd vibration through the bars. Backed off sharpish and eased her down slowly, front end is not happy and niether is my ass. Brought her to a standstill and had a look around. I thought maybe I had a puncture so avioded grabbing a handful of brake. There is a bolt missing from the right hand side brake callipher a little bracket is floating around looks as if it secures the ABS ? sensing line/cable, also looks as if the brake pad is binding as well.
Have to be honest defo an oh shit moment when I actually realised the calliper is missing a bolt and as mentioned the outside pads look as if they are binding on. I very gingerly rode her home as did not want to abandon the bike were I was and chances of getting recovery from there at 8.30pm on a Saturday evening was zero. Pissed off as likely as not the pads are shagged and they were only renewed in April, would seem someone did not do there job as well as they should have.

Well, I survived the BBQ in Wales, not for lack of trying! One of the poisons going the rounds was this...

...which was some serious firewater that burned all the way down and quite literally took your breath away - 80% proof  :eek

Even the dog got trashed  :lol

Bought a black sheepskin rug to cut down for longer trips. Made some hooks on elastic to fasten to seat....I don't want to secure it under the seat in case I'm fully loaded with luggage.

Adjusted the chain and gave it a good polishing  Smile

130 mile ride on quiet roads. Wrexham, Bala, Cerrig, Brenig, Llansannan, Betws yn Rhos, Colwyn Bay, Rhos on Sea. An hour at the Cayley cafe for coffee and teacakes then return via St Asaph, Denbigh, Ruthin, Nant y Garth, Horseshoe Pass, ( stopped for a natter with some fellow bikers), Llandegla, Bwlchgwyn, home.
Damp roads in Bala, but stayed dry.

Oh my god! Not seen that stuff since I went to Austria many years ago. Was cheap LastMin deal, full board, but evening meals was shite, served in little cafe, with crazy butch Austrian lass who was a cross between a dinner lady from hell and Geoff Capes, kept draggingyou in when we wanted to eat somewhere else. She kept swigging this stuff whenever she had two mins spare from doll'ing out slop, the same way the rest of us swig Evian.

Picked some up to take home, see what the fuss was all about. Supermarket has rows of the stuff in 40, 60 and 80 strengths. I guess you work your way up as you get more and more butch. Think my Dad ended up using it to get the wood burner started through one of last cold winters...

We just plunged straight in with the 80% stuff Arfa - major shock to the system! Only one person went back to it more than once, and it's rumoured his insides are now chromed  :lol
Mind you, the shots being dished out were pretty damn generous. I haven't drunk that much alcohol on a weekend in a long time, still feeling a bit spaced from the whole thing.

Nick - Was that at the Sheep Alley Rally?

Stuck baffle in exhaust and took it for MOT test.

Passed with same advisories as last test, bar one. exhaust noisy, rear brake disc slightly worn, lower rear suspension bush has slight freeplay.

Came home, took baffle out. :lol
