Nope!!!!!.....it wont!.....ive got an FCE and i still did it........all you have to do is bump up the compression and twist the throttle and woola......slidey slidey shitty panty.

No i dont have a power commander, in an ideal world i need one but ill see how i get on with this shock first.........i wouldn't particularly say my bike is snatchy though.....maybe ive just got used to it.

Devilsyam you really wont regret the flash, thats what I did, I too bought an FCE, sold it as I no longer needed it as was having ECU re-mapped at Hilltop. My personal opinion on the FCE was that it didnt really work on the bike, if I knew then what I know now I would have gone straight for the re-flash. It really does wake the bike up and makes you realise just how restrictex the gen 2 is stock. I put a link up detailing the whole experience in my intro mate, be interesting yo hear your thoughts once you have it done!

the ECU from 2010 models are much better.my 08 was snatchy but all gone on the 2010.

This may be a dumbass question but is it possible to retrofit an ecu from a later model such as a 2010 to a 2006/2007 to cure the the snatch, or are the ecu so expensive that it is cheaper to use the fce and a power commander? And when I say retrofit I mean just plug and play.

The 2010 bikes still have a bit of the throttle snatch, its not totally gone.
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
