What did you use to paint them?

Rattle can paint, primer, aluminium colour and clear coat. Looooaaads of layers.

They were really corroded, took 4 hours just to get that sorted.

Looks really smart!

What did you use for the fairing in-fills just above the radiator?

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

They always ask that, eh TGB?  :lol :lol

His is a very rare variant made for riding schools, hence the different clocks and naked as standard. The infill panels ar factory standard!

Cleaned months of accumulated chain lube and gunk away from around the front sprocket cover, stands and pivots, and anywhere else I could get at without having to remove anything. Found the perfect brush for doing it knocking around in the garage, so there ARE useful things in there too!  :rolleyes Happiness is a good cleaning brush  :lol

Then gave it a thorough wash down - about 2 hours in all; now that'll have to do til this time next year...

Bought choke cable and fairin infill's from b1k3rdude (and drank his shite coffee) then taxed it and ordered levers and barends from ebay so soon I'll have all i need when i nip up to deefer's to get it all sorted.

Adjusted head stock and chain. Serviced EXUP. Checked tyre pressures and fliud levels. Put the db killers back in the pipe, then took it out again.  :lol
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Just got back from 170 miles round trip to a race meeting on Anglesey. Lovely weather, good racing. Only downside, one rider airlifted to hospital after an off. Thirty riders on the grid for some races. Another day of racing tomorrow, spectating I must add.

Stripped the head bearing down to re-grease and torque to the spec as provided by Haynes and in doing so discovered the Right hand (as you sit on the bike) lower triple clamp was not tight - I have now torqued all bolts in this area and in doing so have removed the slight click/ Knock I had.

Also decided to adjust the play in the clutch cable for my liking the cable had been over adjusted at the level. So it set about adjusting the 12mm bolt and screw to find I made the clutch slip Sad all sorted now after realising I had not held the screw as I did up the lock nut.
