You can see the advantage of machining the stem rather than making a spacer for under the top yoke, it has not affected the ride height too much at the front and you can see how low the top yoke sits above the headstock.  I might even drop the forks through the clamps 10mm for that racer look Smile

I trust you're going to paint the frame, engine, tank, running gear,... everything in faster blue. Akro would look pretty special if you painted that blue aswell.
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Im thinking of doing replica lawson fz750 colours which does have a touch of blue...

you should get that chain off the ground as its too easy to cut down there, suggest you spin the bike around and run it over one side of the swingarm & wheel.

Thanks for the advice , but the chains too short to go over the swing arm , I also put 2 disclocks on , and a chain around the back wheel , it gets  covered over , there's a security light as well and in the winter I take the battery off .

Here's mine, 2004 in the fastest colour, having had my eye on one for years, I bought it last October with 8500 miles on clock. Unbelievably, it still had the dreaded ME4's on it. You can guess how squared off the rear was !!  :eek

Oh, and my scratching tool - GSXR600WV. Love them both, for different reasons.

Just started modifying the FZS prior to the TT -  just had new T30's today, dropped yokes down forks 10mm, bought R6 shock, R&G crash bungs, have Leo Vinci race can, and Mike's bringing Ivan over to see me for a Full Monty next Friday.
Dynoed at 126BHP/10.1 kgm @ rear wheel.

Blacking it out as much as possible - only mods are Ivan's FM, R6 shock upgrade and Akrapovic.
