Seriously chaps...some of the roads i think are just a means to an end are probably some other folks wet dream...i really am spoiled......although i will say this...lots of them are small ie narrow & winding & flicky....& pretty foccin dangerous. :evil .....im talking 3rd gear max...maybe 4th until you get cought with too much pace & wish you had more engine braking.
Given the choice i reckon i prob prefer the mid wales more flowing & larger twisties.......but the last few days have given me good practice at slower speeds & the scenery is shit hot.

Completed the oh-so-wrong-feeling DOWNGRADE to standard headlights! :'(
Double headlight mod completed, of course. Also switched to the summer fairing and fitted my new/old retro style bar mounted mirrors. (€10 the pair! With E-mark!) [smg id=1919] Already ordered a secondary light unit to make sure I can still see in the gloom! Yet to make some panels to cover the front corners of the frame (rectifier, horn area) and yet to figure out what to do about indicators. But already pretty happy with the more streetfightery look. NOGGY! Don't trade yours in, we make a good team!!!

Got my bike back from it's 40k mile service today, major service plus two new tyres so I'm £500 lighter. Ouch.
Plus I'm scrubbing them in in the pissing rain. :rolleyes Been riding a courtesy XJ6 the past two days, thoroughly uninspiring bike.
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,
too fucked up to care any more.

Very nice Mick 8) , that looks as cool as an Akra imo...no doubt for a fraction of the cost. Makes such a difference to the look of the bike.

What did I do with my fazer today? Fell in love with it all over again. Even in the wind and wet that bike is just so much fun and then some..

Took wife's Fazer 1000 into a mates garage for it's MOT (she broke 2 toes last week) got picked up my son and then took in my RSV - both still have a couple of weeks left so have them there to fit in as he's got time.
Cleaned son's Fox-eye 600 and now settling down with a Belgian Cherry Beer.
