SPLIT ARMOUR
#1
Hi there, have  had my furygan jacket about 5 months now not a large mileage rider so have just cleaned it for the first time when I removed the D30 armour before cleaning I found three of the pieces were split both the elbows and one shoulder.

Has anyone else seen this fault? I have not had any accidents and the clothing is well looked after.

I have yet to contact the seller just wanted any info about similar problems

Hiya fella, just  checked my Furygan jacket and trousers with D30 and all good.....I do 500 miles a week and nudging 2.5 hrs a day in all weathers (pushing 9,000 miles). Was used literally a couple of times, new last November, before I picked the pair up at Xmas (£160 the pair  :lol ).

Wondering if the previous owner/seller washed your jacket with the bloody armour in place - just a thought. Any signs of water damage?

My shoulder took an impact last year when i fell off & the armour is fine......actually it feels so soft id be surprised if it ever splits.

took them back to the seller swapped them no problem
the elbows had gone around the flex point but the shoulder had a split across the impact area.
Good service from Julian and staff at helmet city in west bay dorset
