Fitted some Galfer wavey discs on the front end.

Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Did over 100 miles in the glorious Scottish sunshine today.....brilliant!!!

Used the bike as the sun was shining and  I had to drop some paperwork off at Olveston and Horfield and do some fault finding at Lockleaze .

MOT'd it, no advisories!      Rode it properly for the first time in a month after work, clutch that I had fiddled with felt fine but still rattling a bit so will get the carb tune out soon. Today was also the first proper test of my motad downpipes, I noticed no difference whatsoever in performance but it felt great to hear ALL of the exhaust actually coming out of the exhaust can and they look loads better so I am very happy with them!

Got the airbox back in after my whoopsie with the help of a rubber mallet.     Thanks for the advice, Tony! Rain stopped play, but hopefully I'll have it all back in on Saturday. Looks like I'll be cleaning the carbs this weekend too, hopefully!
The Deef's apprentice

Fitted a new clutch cable to the boxeye. Genuine Yamaha of course
Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???

Realised the MOT had run out in February, crapped it, phoned round and it went straight through - result!

Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.

pulled off the front and rear peg hangers, frame cover, disassembled for powdercoating, knocked out the bushes (found out they where a tenner each from Yamahahahaha see seperate post), replacing all shitty oxidised fasteners for stainless, got new bars, levers, R6 shockm barided lines and other goodies to fit if weather holds this week?

Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Rubber mallet, best device before resorting to a lump hammer for getting square pegs into round holes  :lol

Left it in the garage because it was peeing down with rain when I left for work  :'(

Ride for today coz you never know what tomorrow holds.

well Renthals drilled and fitted, and the R6 shock done too, all bolts on the wire wheel and come up well, great threads, bearings re-greased and some copper slip on a few things, either this bike has never been introduced to copper or lithium grease or the previous owners didn't give a fudge!! Way too many seized bolts for my liking!!

I like bikes....ALOT!!

De-siezed the rear caliper and replaced the brake fluid, repainted the steel downpipes and refitted in place of the stainless set so I can polish another day......all this on the 600 whilst the mighty thou sat there looking very dirty  :\

One, is never going to be enough.....
