Itallian bastards have given me the wrong clamp, have bought 2 now and neither are working right. I think one is right but I need a new gasket to give the clamp something to clamp on to because the old one is too wrecked now. I'm starting to think the link pipe may be wrong? MOT is next week :eek ....
Oh shit mate...defo dont compound problems by having bars too then. :'(
I could have said id check the link pipe for my simmi can but you need it in a week plus i best keep mine for if anyone wants the end can.
I also have an original can....dont you have the original you can chuck on for the mot????
Also ive updated above about the rear hugger...see couple posts up...interested????

Put me down for the bars and ends too
Half price comes in at £25 for bars plus the ends.
You up for that????
& half price hoses equals £75
So £100 all in...nice round number????

Sounds fair mate
If its in nice condition when you get it off then yeah £35 sounds good to me as long as you don't mind posting and nobody else who can collect gets in there first. Yeah I still have the standard end can, I havent booked the MOT yet but it runs out on the 12th. I am very confident it will pass if I get this gasket in time and it all fits together with the correct clamp. Its the first aftermarket can I have ever bought, it is nice but I'm starting to wish I had gone for my 2nd choice instead now which was a British Pipe Werx can.
If CRH isn't interested in the forks I'd go for them!

Sorry for the :hijack Noggy!
If I go for USD forks on this round of modding (funds and time allowing), I'll have a front end going spare. Just sayin'.
Also, if you like that kind of thing, my fork lowers are polished. Shiny!

Fair enough! And anyway, my sale is dependent on me getting a USD front end.
Bleating? :eek Watch out Clive, here come the Welsh! :lol

I'd certainly be interested in your shiny forks :-D sure let me know what your looking for them! Mine are getting a bit pitted at the top (still operate fine and no leaks) But they look rather tatty...
Noggy,
What's the engine like? What's the mileage on it?

Engine is brilliant, 14.5 k miles at present, it had the updated sprocket nut attached at 9k miles, has no issues with gear jumping & ive treated it to Activ8 friction reducer.........i'd be looking for £150 plus postage which is pretty cheap for a good motor.
Fizzy pies has expressed interest & i said he could have first refusal......if you defo want it then i can go back to him just to confirm whether he defo wants it or not.

Right foccers.
A other noggy conundrum moment :'(
Been doing lots of thinking ref this and my other very long reccomend me a bike thread......ill keep it simple...ill post the main question first.....& then all the complete piffle behind it afterwards.
So the question is.......do yous foccers mind hanging on til the end of the season for these parts ie September ish.??????????????????????
Now the saga:-
Originally i just wanted to do my Scotland trip...then strip it....but that leaves the rest of the season with either no bike....or a new bike with no time to ride it coz im too busy stripping the old bike....storage issues etc etc.
So annoying the MOT is due in August.......if it passed then happy days i could say im gonna run it til the end of the season and then strip it.....& then i dont need to buy a new bike til next season which means a newer bike & more money saved up....plus ill actually have the bike strip money to put up front.........all good.
But if it fails the MOT.....im stuffed......no more 2014 season for me.....unless i fork out more money to fix it....so i fork out £35 for an mot then say another £100 just to ride it for another 2 months which is also a waste. (If im honest the only thing worrying me about mot is the front lights).
So i gotta weigh it up......no doubt signing up to a new bike just for 2 months of this season is still the bigger waste of money.
Trouble is you just dont know.....part if me says just stick it in for mot and find out but if it fails i then cant ride it as a fail will void the last pass.....but if it is a cheap pass then all good i can still enjoy this season on a fazer.
But dont want to foc yous about.
But will yous mostly be waiting til after the season before yous do the bits n bobs anyway.....cant remember anyone being desperate....all dibs will still stand.
What says yous????
