Just a little update
I've managed to score a used pair of blue dot calipers
So next week I'll be getting the stems swapped and the calipers carriers milled

Yeah, saw your thread Christo, shalll be following. Lots of good builds going on atm
I have all forks and yokes already off of a yzf
Christo
I'm not sure what your asking? Will they fit what?
If your asking will R1 forks fit fzs600 yokes the answer is no
Your also need the spindle, spacers front, fender etc...
I would be looking for a compleat front end not just forks
Don't forget with the R1 front end the fzs spindle is thinner so your need to get it adapted

I'm trying to get my head round this upside down fork business.
I undestand the physics, I know they look great, I need to work out how the hell they actually fit, and what needs doing to make them fit!! :lol
The Deef's apprentice
Nothing to do with the front end upgrade bit I scored a fazer 1000 blue dot rear caliper
Blue dots all round
NFFN
The rear caliper has arrived
I plan to start the referb next week
Hopefully will have some updates and I can get this part of the project moving forward

Well joy of joys
I have been made redundant today
(I have a feeling it was going to happen)
But it means while I'm on my 45 day consultation period I will have time to get the bike sorted
Ps anyone got any jobs going in the south east????
NFFN
gutted for you man, hope you find something else soon!
In the mean time keep your spirits up by showing us bike progress

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.
Bit of a update
Im between job hunting I've made a start on the forks
I bought a fzs600 stem off eBay had it pushed into the YZF750 bottom yoke
I had the fork seal's done on the forks
Also the calpier carriers milled out to accept the blue dot calipers
Still to do is get top yoke drilled for the risers
Make the headlamp and digital speedo bracket/mount
Next week I should be able to swap the front ends over
NFFN
glad it's progressing, hope you find a job soon buddy.
