I thought I'd got rid of the stupid idea of getting an MT-09
Until I saw this

That looks very nice! Think the wheels need a bit more black on them though. Maybe YAMAHA written in black on the dish of the wheel.
Very nice though. Chris
They certainly look the biz
![]() I also like yellow. Orange better but yellow :thumbup

I love it!
Saw this and was very tempted. Just can't bring myself to commuting on it and doing about 17k/year. It'd ruin it.
I'm the same as stevierst. It would look crap by next year if I commuted

I've just added that place to my front page on my ipad. I'm all for some discreet gunmetal greys & matt colours but what the foc's goin on at the moment...there just isnt enough cool as focness going around....stuff like this is exactly what the bike market needs. Kawasaki Z800 is my firm favourite at the moment..it looks cool & aggresive...but if i thought both bikes were just as good i'd choose this MT09 because of the colour scheme alone.

The more I look at it the more I like it. IMO it was the only truly distinctive naked on the market at the moment until I saw this.

too fucked up to care any more.

Damm dam dam I've got a test ride on one this afternoon.
Just curious, I don't need to change and I'll probably hate it anyway, so there.

Can you let me know how you get on with the tank please locksmith?....when i sat on it my legs seemed a bit too low around the tank. I know they are wheelie monsters but can you say how the front end feels ie does it feel a bit light on the corners?. I really should just get a test ride n'all...im off to the dealer on the 14th so ill blag one then if the weather is eventually decent & put up what i reckon.

Didn't even tell me to bring my licence on the phone (I will of course), I'm imagining there's a hefty excess if you bin it, I know they had the MT9 damaged in the first week!!
I'll let you know my thoughts on the tank and anything else I like/don't like.

Cheers :thumbup ....ye they said to me both parts of the licence but the weather put me off.....& i think the excess is high hence i really want nice dry roads on a strange bike. I wish i could take one home to use on my local b road blasting route, it's a bit difficult to test properly on unknown roads.
