Ripped everything back off and sourced some shorter Bandit risers, just waiting for them to arrive so I can enjoy the sunshine  Smile

Didn't you take a pic with them fitted for future comparison?

Surprisingly my local Yamaha dealer only charges 60p for a crush washer(sump plug type)
more like a reasonable price. best tell him to stock up the foccers could be coming his way lol

£1:13 at my yam dealer. Reading manual it implies renewal isn't necessarily needed
[/quote]

It might not be, but given it's the first time I've done my own oil and filter change a couple of quid extra for peace of mind was worth it.

Anyway, I rode it to Bristol and back over Friday and Saturday and it ran fine, so I'm happy Smile

Kit No offence but I think you should learn to cook and scrub and your good lady should learn to ride so she can replace you on our rideouts.
This idea has 2 benefits
1. easier on your shocks
2.easier on my eyes (since I'm always chasing)

Got out 9am rode to Worcester with mate on his CG 125-spent some time there & rode to Stourport  then Bewdley-where we met a nice old fellow with a 65 Triumph Thunderbird. Rode up west side of Severn Valley to Bridgnorth. Saw the steam trains, crossed the river & dropped into the bikers café at Quatford on the Kidderminster road. Met a fellow foccer with a 51 plate yellow(SLOW?)Foxeye. Admired the eye candy(Bikes & biker babes) had some food then dropped back down the A458 to Kinver Edge/Stourbridge/Black Country& home. Ended up resetting his contact breaker points on the Honda as they had closed up reducing his "power" on the hills. A good day out! :lol

got bike all ready for a 3 1/2 hour round trip to see my mum for mothers day (somerset to east berkshire),went to get my lid/boots out of the airing cuboard and found water pissing down the wall  :eek ,boots are half full of water, thankfully the lid was only slightly wet. so spent the morning trying to stop the water and get in touch with my landlords who live below and who's kitchen ceiling is ruined from the water and so never got to do the trip, gutted.

This is a tale of not what I did with my Fazer but what I did in the name of 'our' Fazer Smile

Coming out from Aldi having purchased a paddock stand (not sure of full value given the centre stand) I spied acroos the car park a man about to get on his clean red boxeye.  I walked over to him and ask if he was a foccer.
Ok I lied, I asked him if he was a member of the fazer owner club. I told him it was an online forum full of interesting information and people and that we go out on rides alot together.

He seemed interested as his raced off in to the sunset shouting  'OI NUTTA'

So who knows may be we will have another nice member in the near future Smile
