Shame as it was so lovely yesterday, may be able to do next weekend, will check date, out today down to Rye, recommend Rye Harbour cafe as opposed to the "normal" one, good parking and food divine, freshly cooked and very reasonable. Then off to Bexhill to see an elderly relative (well, older than me! lol) so hoping not too wet, as will drip all over the carpet. :thumbup

Nothing in Kent today either, little spit on the way back from Leysdown but nothing like what was forecast. Think it's gonna hit us later than predicted.
Well its been persisting it down in the midlands on and off for most of the day and the wind is picking up again so maybe a good call having postponed this one
Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???

Absolutely right, chucking it down big time at 9pm. Managed a dry run to Rye Harbour Cafe, but tide came in very fast and had to move bikes so they didn't get swamped. Marks on cafe door show how high it came at Christmas, so wasn't going to chance it.

Well it did start raining early this afternoon in my part of middle earth.
I watched Country file this evening and there weather forecast shows warm air coming in from the south by the end of the week so hopefully a better weekend to come.
Went out about 10am in Wellingborough area. Got about 50 miles in but the roads weren't at their best. Started to piss down about 11 but stopped half hour later, just as I got the bike put away again. Found what was most probably the most evil corner I have ridden for quite a whiles so that was fun.

The weather for this Sunday, well it sounds like waiting a week was a good move. There should be a high pressure weather zone over the country, making it dry with temperatures in the teens.

If that turns out to be correct, I'm definitely in!
