Considering your budget... I assume it won't be on the road for a fair while

Christo, a pic of it in the back of your 106 is called for here I think......
I will add that it was put there deliberately, he didn't ride into it.

I believe christo is experienced at putting boxeye 600s into cars .lol.

Cheeky bastard!! :lol :lol [smg id=1670 type=preview align=center caption="Fazer in Peugeot 1"] [smg id=1671 type=preview align=center caption="Fazer in Peugeot 2"] And I drove like a complete granny from St Ives up to Rusty Rider (Yaxley). I hit a head spinning 50mph on the A1!! The worst part was that I could only move the seat half back - so had me knees alteranting between being wrapped round the wheel, and wrapped round my ears!! To boot, the box I put the engine in was too big for the seat - I had to cave in a corner to change gear into 1st!! But I got it up safely, and look forward to stripping & fixing the engine this week. ![]()

I just... uh... yeah. What noggy said...
What exactly is wrong with this one? There seems to be a lot of missing fairing ![]()

There is a fairing in there, buried under stuff!
Compression is low in cylinders 2 & 3 , but the bores are OK. New piston rings called for, methinks! Yep, stainless system, and a Venom (I think?) can - soon to be flogged!! :lol

and it's now spread over a large part of Cambridgeshire. The rolling chassis, minus fairing and all mechanical bits is keeping my Rotavator and two motor mowers company in my shed while the rest was last seen in cardboard boxes in Christo's car. When he first arrived the engine, minus head and barrels, was sitting on the front passenger seat but got moved into the back. Good job he doesn't smoke though, he drove off with a half full petrol tank on the front passenger seat.......

well christo I think you got a bargin

Or maybe I do smoke, and It's a larger area than you thought!!! :eek :lol
It is, BBB. I paid £250 for the whole thing. With luck, the engine only needs new piston rings, but as It's in bits anyway, I'll give it a thorough service. EDIT: Sorry Bigsteve, the second line was to you not BBB. My senility's getting as bad as Red98's! :b :lol :lol

Should we start a caption competition for the best description of christo's car / bike combo? I must admit I didn't think you would get a 600 in the Peugeot but once again I'm proved wrong. Ah well I look forward to seeing the photos as the rebuild goes. Good luck.
