Tax Disk Holder
#1
So soon our £14 alloy tax disk holders will be redundant.
Any ideas what we can do with them- re use as
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

I never put the tax discs on my bike, never have. Been pulled plenty of times and I have never had any grief from the rozzers as soon as I explain that I dont put them on so they wont get stolen. I am so glad that they have seen sense and done away with the disc, in this day and age its pointless but lets hope that DVLA can cope and not make the usual fuck-up of things that they normally do.

Depends on how strong they are I guess... my first thought is a flip out mup holder on a desk Tongue

I've had bike cops in the past casually ask to see my tax disc if I have it on me....redundant holder seems a good place to put a foc-u badge perhaps Smile

Mines never been on the bike due to theft in the past, when asked to see it and I pull it out the tool box they've always been happy it was with the bike, even though law says it should be on display!
Some say...

What about putting a photo of Margaret Thatcher in it so she will always be with you on your bike ride.

Oh sorry this is the wrong thread  :evil .

That'd only entitle you to ride on private roads though

Why don't we all keep our tax disc holders and substitute the tax disc with a Foccers logo and the website address. It would be a neat way of identifying each other. Maybe someone could come up with a design that we can download and print, with perhaps a space for our forum names on the design.
Just a thought.

Surely the one finger birdie would be the logo. Defo good while tax disks are still active Smile

I think it needs to lose the `Yamaha` otherwise it would be YFOC-U.CO.UK (if not then the `M` needs altering so that the middle part is the same lengh as the rest of it) and those tuning forks definitely need to extend into the circle, but other than that  :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup

That probably sounds a bit picky but if it isnt right, someone will pick up on the Fazer owners club having the Yamaha logo wrong!

I used to do the same on the R1 as limited mounting places and they were always falling off, now have it on screen of Fazer, but love the idea of Foc U badge instead.
