Air filter question

Is it ok to use a pattern one? Saw some on eBay.  European I think the make is.

Just splash out and get a K&N, it'll be the last one you ever buy for the bike.
I've had trouble with cheap ones not breathing properly before.
The K&N really opens up the airways a lot, and makes the throttle more responsive.  Wink

For the small price difference get a K&N or pipercross, the 'recharge' or cleaning kits as a normal person would call them are only about £15 and will be enough to perform several cleans!

Nope, pop it in and you're done.


K&N state that they don't need cleaning for the first 50,000 miles so no need to worry about that just yet.
