PS: every time I go on the A303 I have some sort of 'run-in' with a boy racer or twat executive type in a BMW/Audi/VW. Last night it was a boy racer in Seat.
Boy racer are there for your enjoyment when you leaving them for dead. :lol
A few years ago I took an S1000RR for a test ride, a Boy racer in an M5 was acting the idiot in front of me. I decided to over take and foc off. Just as I went to overtake Boy racer dropped a gear (obvious from the puff of black smoke from the exhaust) to take me on. I dropped 2 and was gone My friend behind me on and R1200GS pulled up along side him and said he was looking dumbfounded in the M5. My friend looked in at him and shook his head, passed and met me at a petrol station 5 miles up the road and told me what had happened. The M5 guy pulls in and get out and asked "Whats that" I just said "one very fast motorbike" and rode off. :rollin :rollin :rollin
yep....a load of bollards :lol :lol :lol ...most of them had big 1300 bmw,a brace of pans and big touring stuff...i had one foot down on first run and clear on second , not bad as i`ve not ridden the 600 for 18 months or more
Bitching with carbs
Is there any one that like it? I must say it's not the worst sort of tasks if you have warm place with roof on top of your head ... and my hands.. still stinks bleee.
recieved christo's old rad gaurd via red98 (cheers paul) and shook the water off my bike cover, looking forward to a good bimble tomorow as the weather looks good 8)

Nice ride, went to H's café, big breakfast, very tasty - saw 2 gen1s together but they were leaving as I arrived so didn't get to say hi. Alex George, as reported elsewhere, now taken over by Infinity, got a pair of Spada Enforcer gloves there on a whim, nice n warm combined with the heated grips. Filmed the Charlbury TT but camera was on pissed! Oh well, still good enough to start learning those bends properly. A44 to Broadway fun, but a little too much traffic to really enjoy. Pity about the camera, light was good for filming and caught some nice autumnal scenes, Cotswold villages &c. Always another time and will be more careful setting up next time!
Then gave it a good clean, so all shiny in the garage again now.
Didn't do anything with bike Saturday but today: Drained old coolant & removed radiator & fan for better access to front of engine for cleaning & repainting front engine mounts etc where there is a bit of corrosion (only surface). Removed each exhaust header nut one by one & refitted with a bit of copper grease on studs-all ok! Removed front mudguard ready for removing front wheel, forks etc.
Put it back together minus AIS , thanks to all the good advice on here , new plugs fitted , new coolant , new tank cover (supplied by Devilsyam Luke top bloke ), started it up to let it warm up , check for leaks and took it out for a 60mile first ride since HTB as the roads were dry , no new vibrations , no missing , very responsive , so I think I haven't focced it up , Removed battery when I got back .
Got it out and rode about 60 miles ,some small roads ,some nice A roads,,some damp, some dry,,span up in third flat out, shit myself a bit,,time for more top gear rollons,,traction has left us with the summer. :lol
Was going to do the circle of red but ended up fitting H7 HID and a Scottoiler ready for depatching tomorrow. After going down the very wet M3 friday night and then little country lanes around the arse end of Andover in fog looking for Longparish House I JUST HAD TO FIT THEM TODAY
