It seems like there are lots of us that are happy with our tyres, but that kinda makes sense as you want to tell yourself that it was money well spent while you've still got them.
So how about a list of the worst tyres for an fZS600 in the winter / wet? Ones that you'd never buy again even if they were cheaper than a set of Nangkong Ditch Destroyers!

It's probably true to say that all tyres are mostly good today, can't think of any horror stories from the major tyre manufacturers, anyone know of any really dodgy ones?

whats them dodgy fkrs they put on them chinese chopper copy,s...arnt they called ..jinlu or something like that?...90% nylon...they also make them for cars?...

I'd second that. Remember Cheng shing and vee rubber ? :eek

I got a great deal on a set of four Continental tyres for my Pug 306 in about 2003. Ruined a great little car. Hardest rubber I've ever seen on tyres. In the wet they turned roundabouts into straightabouts! Terrible tyres.
Not really relevant though....

No problems yet, been riding in rain all this week. I ride all winter too but I don't corner hard so I don't often find the limits of my tyres.

Some say...

[/quote] Yeah, i'm pretty hot on it as well, i'm fortunate to have air lines at work so i check mine quite often anyway. Dropped my rear to 40 recently, was finding 42 just a little too much, but if the structure is stiff like you say then i could probably go down to 38 which could be good for winter.
