Apart from the S1000RR, which is impractical for me anyway, this is the first time I have ever looked at a BMW and thought, now that's a nice looking bike:

Everyone seems to be tryingto copy the noggyfighter......except i crashed mine & threw it together.....they've got millions o squiddly diddlys....might jus keep the noggyfighter a little longer whilst it is fitting in with the rest.

Should've used the Tuono for comparison. Which, I agree, does look better than this BM, and apparently the price is going to be a bit silly too. But still, a definite departure looks-wise from what they usually come up with.
Regarding "bitty" and "angular" styles, having been brought up on first old Zs, GSs and then FZRs, early GSXRs and the like, yeah, it's taking time to get used to this. But the demand must be out there - who's driving it if we aren't?
Good to see the general shift in popularity from pure sports bikes after so long. Maybe we'll get an issue of a bike magazine soon that doesn't feature a test of a CBR600? :rolleyes
I've been screaming "I want fairings" for years! :rollin :rollin
I think the bike manufacturers are driven by what they percieve we want rather than asking us directly. They see sports bikes chopped to nakeds. Ooh, they think, customers want nakeds. No, we just can't afford another foccing fairing!!
Noggy, your bike has character and class. The poor fools can only hope to imitate... the beast. :lol

He he so true Cristo....yep im kidding myself coz im the same i bloody love fairings...i was being sensible when i got the fazer but i really wanted anything with a fairing like a cbr or a zx6, i suppose you can take the nog outta the estate but you cant take the estate outta the nog :rolleyes ...dont get me wrong i do love my fazer coz it does perform but i only threw my monstrous headlight on coz i couldn't afford or be focced to get another standard one back on.
Thing is though as ive found out....the lack of front fairing has made foc all noticeable difference to me, even after a couple hundrd miles & i reckon theres less wind on my chest & bonce now.....but fairings do look nice.
