Refitted the exhaust ( anyone know what the correct torque is for the header nuts  )  , and reconnected the EXUP cables which I labelled T & B , i'm getting forgetfull in my old age .
Also pulled the leads off the plugs and labelled them NO,NI,OI,OO .

I'm sure I read on here it's 10Nm for the header nuts. I'm sure someone will confirm though

Spot on paul , mine are numbered 1-4 as well , but with my memory I would still forget which way I took them off , I was going to label LO, LI ,RI,RO , but that would depend  if I was looking from the front or back .

found some black wax polish for car trim, hiding in the garage.  Took off the black plastic fairing lower inside panels and side bits on the airbox etc and cleaned n buffed em with this black wax stuff.  Was a moment of OCD but fazer looks good.
This week I've been mostly tinkering in the garage

Looked, sniffed and inspected the carbs on my kitchen sink as the part delivered that would not fit through the letter box is sat waiting for pick up from my local delivery office.

So no work on the bike today

Rode up to London from Portsmouth, but went for a more interesting route than the A3 by taking the A32 and B3349.

There was an amusing incident when I turned onto the A31 approaching Alton. I saw a single bike on the exit from the Roundabout and thought "Hello, looks like a Marker."

As such, I wasn't surprised to see another bike on the Alton turn off, then one on the A339 turn off waving his arm and making pointing gestures to direct me.

So I pointed at myself and shook my head at which point he realised I wasn't someone on his Ride Out Smile
