Just bare in mind you will still be in Hurricane season in October if you decide Dominican Republic. Cape Verde Islands ?? weather should be great, nice people. May I suggest the old Google route. October/November time Dubai could be worth a look??just starting to cool down a bit.

October is at the end of the hurricane season.
Try the Blau Varedero hotel in Cuba. Lovely (and relatively cheap) all inclusive holiday. I booked through Virgin Holidays when I went and did the Havana 2 day trip on the way home.
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again
Try "Cheap holidays to Cape Verde" on Google.................. :evil
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!

Officially, the
Atlantic hurricane season is from June 1 to November 30, but as the
Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) notes:
Sorry but worked in Hurricane alley for to many years at sea, if it is not a hurricane it is a tropical storm.

Sorry to hijack the thread BUT I'm hoping to get away for a week at the end of October to anywhere warm in Europe what sites are best value /cheapest?
Cheers

Try Travelzoo
Always works for me
(also try northern cyprus, v. cheap and pretty unspoiled)
Pop down to your local INDEPENDENT Travel agent. I got a week in Kephalonia for 2 for £550 last year, booked a couple of days before we went. The've probably got access to all the deals.
