bought a fazer 1000 yesterday!!!! yeehaaaaa

hi folks, im in the scottish borders, after making a comeback to biking after a 5 yr break i bought an sv650s 04 reg wi 12000 miles for £1350.. only reason i bought it because it was a bargain! after 1900 miles of pain and discomfort i was persuaded to buy a fazer!!! comfort and relief by the bucketfull!!! only done 100miles so far but still smiling!!! roll on the summer!!!! Big Grin

Hi mate, welcome to the forum.
Yeah, I had an SV for a while, seat was bench hard and front cyl. would cut out in heavy rain - scary on a motorway! But now you've got a real bike, you'll love it.

Ive been on the A701 up through the Devils Beef Tub to Edinburgh many a time to visit the folks...but never on my bike!, such nice roads to have on your doorstep & a  :faz  playground.

take it easy, enjoy the bike, enjoy the site!

Finally joined the forum eh  Big Grin i,m a three time gen 1 owner, i run out with a group of four gen 1,s on my 10 plate Z1000  :evil ALSO A GREAT BIKE  :lol good to see another fazer 1000 in our group  Big Grin and roll on next summer !! still a month of this one to go mind, at anstruther today for fish and chips, highly recomend you go try them from the wee chippy ......

Fazers a great piece of kit eh.. Far better than those z1 thingys that boxer1 rides.. He should never have sold his fazer Tongue..

Miss my fazer but the Z1000 a more modern better handling bike, huge low/midrange power wit equally as good fuel economy, and it looks better, don,t disagree fazer a peach of a bike tho  Smile

Rode with a Z1000 yesterday and it was no match for the mighty Fazer Thou in all areas......great looking bike though.

Mmmmmmmm Ainster Chippy!!!!!!, i spent allot o money in that place in my late teens, a wee blast through in my clapped out Nova & the chips were just as tasty as the fish, a sign of a truely good chippy, well recommended  Smile
